Some animals remain still for more than 3 hours, which can lead to false alarms. If you receive such an alarm, you should wait another 3 hours to see if the alarm persists. If you do not receive such a message, there is a good chance that it was a false alarm. In the user portal, you can change the number of hours the device must be still before alarming, as well as the number of reports/meter (radius) in calculating the minimum movement alarm.

Immediately after collecting the animals, the units should be cleaned with a cloth or wet wipe, without removing the battery cap. To delete individuals, first go to "stock" and "list" in the menu on the left in the user portal. If you change the update frequency, this will only take effect when the terminal is in contact with the server. If the terminal is set to report every 24 hours and you change to every hour, this will only change 24 hours after it last reported.

There may be two reasons for this: 1. The unit is outside mobile coverage at the moment it was supposed to report. 2. If the unit does not get a valid position, only the last valid position will be shown. If you go to the stock and then press the unit serial number, a new menu will appear and here you press show history. If it says 0 under position valid, it has not received a valid position. This can happen if the animal is located close to a mountain wall/house wall, dense forest or similar.

Telenor originally announced the shutdown in 2025, which has now been postponed to 2027. Telia is moving forward with shutdown in 2025. Telenor and Telia have partially overlapping coverage, which will lead to a weakened coverage ratio in 2025.
